  • What are some characteristics of a traditional location?

    • Location: Because Orange Leaf is a destination location, we prefer units in upscale shopping centers in high-population density areas that are easily accessible from main thoroughfares. Our locations do best in areas with above-average disposable income.
  • Where are franchise locations available?

    • We are currently selling franchises in all states, with the exception of Alaska and California. We are entertaining offers for strategic partnerships for international locations as well.
  • What is the average net income for a location?

    • In accordance with franchise law, we are not able to disclose this information. However, upon a satisfactory review of your Franchise Application, we will send you our Franchise Disclosure Document, which includes revenue figures for many of our corporate-owned stores.
  • Where do we purchase our supplies?

    • Franchisees typically purchase supplies from a combination of the franchisor (us), approved vendors, and vendors in their local market.
  • How long is the franchising process?

    • From application submission to opening, the process takes six months on average. However, this is largely dependent on how quickly you find a location and receive the proper permitting.
  • Do I need prior restaurant experience to own an Orange Leaf?

    • At Orange Leaf, we pride ourselves on outstanding franchisee support and the process-oriented system we have created to run an efficient and successful operation. All you need are the basics: an understanding of the importance of providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. We can teach the rest!
  • What type of training do you provide?

    • Franchise groups come to our headquarters for a comprehensive program of classroom and hands-on training. The hands-on portion (at our nearest corporate store) offers invaluable operational experience in a “live” environment. Training extends through your Grand Opening, when we send a member of our training and operations team to ensure the event goes smoothly and staff training is up to speed. From there, we maintain involvement and support with our franchisees on an ongoing basis.
  • What happens once I sign a Franchise Agreement?

    • Upon signing a Franchise Agreement, we will provide you with a building specifications manual detailing how the store should look and offering suggestions on where to source building materials. Before and during the construction process, our opening team will work closely with you and your general contractor to ensure all goes smoothly, while another member of our operations team assists you with the development process by making sure you are meeting all appropriate milestones and getting the training you need to succeed.
